Now on show at WG Kunst is Ina van Zyl's new, site specific, work for the exhibition De Waarheid.
Brought together in the exhibition space of WG Kunst, the artists investigate the meaning of Truth through visual and literary work. Is it really true that in our time the concept of truth is subject to erosion? Or is it perhaps simply that lying and deception are of all times and that it is only nowadays that they are more conspicuous. Should we really be concerned? Or is there also much to be said in favor of doubt and uncertainty. Doesn't skepticism also lead to more research and analysis?
Inspired by each other, together and individually, they create texts, poems, (visual) stories, animations, drawings, paintings, murals, spatial objects and more. WG Kunst acts as a place of experimentation, where a total artwork is created with artworks that would otherwise never be made. Everything is created live and in the open. New, fresh and never before seen!
